Significance
This house is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle and it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Further evaluation of this house may yield additional information regarding the rich ethnic history of this historically Japanese/American and Italian/ American neighborhood.

Appearance
This is a good local interpretation of the Queen Anne style. It has a hipped roof mass elaborated with gable projections to the east and to the north. Additionally a one story bay window projection wraps the northeast corner of the house. The inset corner porch has a pedimented entrance and is decorated with scrollwork as are are the gable peaks. Surface detail is obscured by asbestos siding. The second floor façade windows have been altered and the colonial shutters are not historic.
