This vernacular house with Craftsman features is most notable for the segmental pediment with the sunburst pattern above the entryway. It is newer than many other houses in this neighborhood near the University Heights School.
Little is known about Frans O. Anderson, the builder. The house was owned by George G. Renner from 1937 to 1947. Later owners included Charles Carter, Oswald H. Holdsworth, Susan Hanson, and Suzanne Harper.

| Appearance |
| This Craftsman style house has a dramatic sunburst pattern over the entryway and attractive leaded glass windows with a fleur-de-lis pattern. The large front porch is also a distinctive feature. The windows are wood sash and include both casements and double hung. There is a gabled dormer on the west elevation. There are some new windows on the west elevation, and solar panels on the roof. The majority of the house has clapboard cladding, and there are wood shingles on the gabled dormer. There is an exterior chimney on the south elevation.
The two-car garage, which is shared with the house to the north, was built in 1924, at the same time as the house. |
