This house was erected in 1915 according to the King County Assessor Property Characteristics Report; however, this date cannot be confirmed because the original building permit has not yet been located. For this same reason, the original owner, designer and builder are not known. Nels Nyberg built a concrete garage for owner Seattle Trust & Savings Bank in 1936-37 and a retainng wall was erected at the site in 1937-38.

| Appearance |
| A small trellis has been added at the east face of the house over the porch opening. The brickwork appears to have been repointed. Aluminum storm windows have been added to some of the openings and the upper level windows at the north-facing gable appear to have been replaced. A double-hung window at the west elevation near the northwest corner also appears to be a replacement unit, and an aluminum “garden window” has been installed at the west end of the north elevation. A roof window is visible at the east-facing slope of the main roof, suggesting that the attic has been remodeled. No other significant modifications are apparent. |
