Significance
This one-story building was built in 1954 as the local office of the Burroughs Corporation. This was one of the many suppliers of office equipment and business services that took advantage of Belltown’s relatively inexpensive land and proximity to customers in downtown office buildings. It is also a good example of the minimalist style of the period, with sleek lines, simple brick veneer and a glass entry pavilion. It looks largely intact, although some of the windows may have been replace with similar metal sash.
