These buildings provided affordable housing for downtown workers, and most of them are now maintained as affordable housing. They are a very important part of the historic character of the Belltown neighborhood. This example is unusually simple for this era. The entry has a cast stone surround, and is topped by a flat suspended canopy and two groups of double-hung windows. The main door and canopy are newer, and one-over-one vinyl windows have replaced the original six-over-one wood window sash.   Appearance
