This fire station is an exuberant interpretation of the Art Deco style. It is possibly the best example of the style in this survey area.
 
Appearance
This concrete Art Deco fire station has strong horizontal form with a stepped parapet in the center. Vertical corrugated-like detailing creates a building of "righ angles." This geometric theme is enhanced by additional ornament including a lightening bolt pattern in the transom.
