This is one of a group of homes built on E. Olin Place in 1926-28 by Oliver W. Harris. Harris, a developer, platted the view property and built the solid upper-middle-class homes, probably on speculation in 1926-28. The houses are different, exhibiting a variety of revival styles, but form a compatible group. This one is one of the more simple ones, with stucco cladding, a one-story hexagonal bay and a dramatic front gbale with a large arched picture window.
