Appearance |
This is a traditional house form embellished with popular ornament of the day. It avoids the free-form of the Shingle style but incorporates second floor and gable shingle cladding with mitered corners. The full width porch is restrained with Neoclassical columns resting on square bases. Simple spindlework baluster survives but porch roof cresting is missing . The house has a predominant front facing gable roof with bracketed eave and a cross gable to the south defines a full height projection. Windows are one over one double hung sash. |
