Significance
This house is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle and it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Further evaluation of this house may yield additional information regarding the rich ethnic history of this historically Japanese/American and Italian/ American neighborhood.
 
Appearance
This is a variation of the basic hipped roof box elaborated with a full height hipped roof façade projection. The low hipped roof and open eaves with exposed rafter ends show Craftsman influence. Windows are one over one double hung wood sash. A small square porch fills the el and is upoorted by a fat wooden column. Handrail and door opeing onto the porch may not be historic. The house has a center brick chimney.
