Significance
This house is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle and it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Further evaluation of this house may yield additional information regarding the rich ethnic history of this historically Japanese/American and Italian/American neighborhood.
 
Appearance
This house is a variation of the traditional one and 1/2 story gable front vernacular house type. It is refined with boxed eaves, molded window and door frames, and a pedimented entrance porch. A shallow rectangular bay with pent roof enhances the façade. Two widths of horizontal siding add surface detail.
