This simple house is a good example of the Dutch Colonial style, one of the most popular built on Queen Anne in the 1920s. The garage is placed in front of the main entry. It was built in 1925 by the local contracting firm of Beck and Rasmussen, who built many homes on Queen Anne in the 1920s. As they are listed as the original owners, it was probably built on speculation, perhaps from a pattern book design. The first identified owner is Raymond White, an engineer with the Estep Engine Company, who owned it from 1937 until 1946, when it was purchased by Theron and Marian Currier.

Appearance
This two-story Dutch Colonial house has a gambrel roof, a full-width shed dormer on the front (east) and clapboard cladding. The entry, to the south on the front façade, is sheltered with an oversized Colonial-style arched hood with large scroll brackets. To the north is a picture window flanked by two six-over-one side windows. The second floor has two pairs of eight-over-one windows. The most notable thing about the house is the garage, constructed right in front of and below the entry; the paneled garage doors, with six-light windows, are similar to the originals. Entry is along a narrow stair on the south side of the garage. The top of the garage serves as a deck; the plain balustrade is original, or a duplicate of the original.
