This house was erectd in 1910 by C. A. Ward for owner J. W. Gull. It was designed by S. Peterson according to the permit application. This house is nearly identical to the structure next door at 4334 Thackeray Place N. Of the two house, this one (4332) was built first. It is unlikely that this structure was originally built to function as a duplex (as it does today according to the King County Assessor Property Characteristics Report). The attic was almost certainly unfinished when the property was surveyed by the Assessor in 1937; however, the attic appears to have been converted into habitable space since that date. The current owner added a deck and a dormer and altered the upper floor of the structure in 1990-91. The structure is interesting because of its unusual mix of styles and its unique chamfered front bay. In addition, it is a fairly intact example of early craftsman bungalow design built in the middle years of Seattle's first north end building boom. The house next door at 4334 has been inventoried.
