Before becoming the Buddhist Meditation & Study Center in 1985, the building was known as the Church of God (1926 to c. 1948), Woodland Park Church of God (c. 1948 to 1985) and Korean Community Presbyterian Church (1985 to 2003). The modern addition to the north was added in 1963-64, according to the Assessor. This structure was identified as a building of significance to the Wallingford community by Nyberg and Steinbrueck. The property appears to include three houses, built between 1918 and 1927(at 3901, 3905 and 3915 Midavale Avenue North) and the storefront building immediately to the south of the main facility (the block and lot numbers entered in this record include only the lots on which the church building and addition were built).
