In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
This house is notable for its decorative brickwork and exterior tile detailing. It was built in 1931 by Herman Neubert. Neubert is listed on the permit (#298721) as the owner, but it is unclear whether Neubert built it for himself, for someone else, or on speculation; little speculative building occurred in 1931. No architect is shown on the permit. Joseph Vinikow purchased it in 1933, and may have owned it into the 1950s. The house is of high quality, with the 1937 assessor’s data noting interior features such as the "expensive and good” fixtures in the three baths, mahogany woodwork throughout, a tile fireplace and extensive tilework in the baths and kitchen.

Appearance
This house has simple hipped-roof form with extensive decorative brickwork. Bricks form blind arches above the first floor windows, quoins at the corners, and the corbelled cornice. The recessed entry in the center has an arched oak door surrounded by a five arched rows of colored tile, with an outer row of light-colored brick. Windows are primarily 8-over-1 leaded windows. There is a small one-story hipped roof wing on the west side, and a very decorative arched bay bay on the west side above the garage entry.
