Significance
In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
This is one of a group of homes built on E. Olin Place in 1926-28 by Oliver W. Harris. Harris, a developer, platted the view property and built the solid upper-middle-class homes, probably on speculation in 1926-28. The houses are different, exhibiting a variety of revival styles, but form a compatible group. This one is one of the most elaborate, with its steep gabled roofs, brick and shingle cladding and leaded glass casement windows exibiting Tudor influences.
