Significance
This small mixed use building, once known as the Mayflower Apartments, dates back to 1910, the period when construction of small apartments (without private bath or cooking facilities) for single men flourished along the western part of downtown and Belltown. The building was considerably altered in 1944, when two large bay windows were removed and asphalt brick was added to the second story. The fire escape on the main façade remains.
