Significance
This house contributes to our understanding of vernacular architecture in early South Park.
 
Appearance
One of only two intact shotgun houses surviving in South Park. This one story dwelling has a steeply pitched gable roof with a full width hipped roof porch. A substantial corbeled brick chimney rises from the center of the house. The asymmetrical entrance and façade window are obscured by plastic enclosing the porch. The house is set on a large lot and a picket fence extends the width of its frontage.
