This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of an early 20th century neoclassical revival residence. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. This house does not appear on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Map.
 
Appearance
Built on a double lot, this ambitious Neoclassical Revival house has a steep hipped roof with hipped dormers. The full height bay window is also capped by a hipped roof. The low hipped porch roof has a classical entablature supported by slender dome columns. Characteristic of the period, this house also has transitional elements such as slightly flared eaves, leaded beveled glass windows and turned porch baluster. The siding appears to be false-brick painted white.
