Significance
The Devoe Building, constructed in 1928, is an intact example of an early mixed-use multifamily and commercial structure.
 
Appearance
This 1928 four-story brick apartment house originally had 17 apartments, with from two to four rooms each. Two storefronts flank the central door that provides access to the apartments on the upper three floors. Four cast stone urns top the cornice of the building. The entablature is a series of arches above the top story windows.
