Seattle Historical Sites

Based on field work conducted in September 2014, this historic property retains its relationship to the streetscape, portions of its historic building form and a sufficient amount of exterior historic building fabric (design features, cladding and/or window sash/openings) to contribute to the distinct character of the Georgetown neighborhood. This is a fairly altered and deteriorated historic property that may possess some limited architectural and/or historic significance. This property exhibits no substantive changes to the exterior appearance since it was identified in the 1997 HRI project. A folk art rock sculpture created by Georgetown resident Louis (Louie) Moss which includes extensive rock, petrified wood and stone design elements has been added to the east side (in front of main elevation) of the building. Mr. Moss also created a similar sculptural facade and entry elements for his own home at 6920 Flora Ave. S.
