Queen Anne Christian Church began in 1906, holding services in a building at First Avenue W. and W. Galer Street. This clinker brick building was a constructed in 1911. It originally had a relatively small polygonal sanctuary on the north side; this was removed in 1959 and replaced by a large modern building. The rest of the older building remains, and retains its original character. The building is particularly notable for its clinker brick façade and extensive stained glass.
 
Appearance
This church has a tall front gable and a symmetrical façade with a gabled entry at each side. Each of the entries is set within a slightly recessed round arch with stained glass transoms. The south entry has double doors, while the northern one has a single one along with a panel of modern stained glass. There are two stories, each with five large stained glass windows, arched on the second floor and flat on the first floor. There is a small arched window in the gable end, and a tall brick chimney near the rear center. The south elevation has two gabled dormers and newer casement sash.
