Significance
This house was built in 1911 and originally consisted of three rooms with an outhouse and chicken coop toward the back of the property.  Little is known about the former owners of the property.
 
Appearance
This building is a single story vernacular residence with a side gable roof form and a front gable porch roof.  The building is clad in wood clapboard siding and features knee braces and wide bargeboards.  The fenestration consists of several non-original aluminum and steel windows on the north elevation and some three-over-one and one-over-one wood double hung windows on the other elevations.  The original front porch has been enclosed and features an aluminum window.  Although altered this building retains some of its original features.
