The house was originally characterized by Queen Anne and Shingle style windows and porch details on a structure with Italianate or asymmetrical Italian Renaissance massing and roof detailing. The recent removal and replacement of the street facing dormer, and the replacement of several windows have significantly altered the appearance of the house



The house was built in 1906 (King County Property Record Card; King County GIS Center Property Report, accessed July 22, 2008). The King County Property Record Card indicates that the house was remodeled after initial construction and prior to 1937; however, the card provides no information concerning the extent or the work.
The King County GIS Center Property Report, accessed July 22, 2008, indicates that the house was renovated in 2006.
