This large masonry food processing warehouse was constructed in circa 1956. It provides 25,840 square feet of space at two levels. It is one of several food processing/distribution warehouses that were constructed in the area in the Post World War II era, when the area's location near major transportation corridors continued to be significant in the commercial development of the area's agricultural and food-processing related industries and when shifts in transportation trends increased global import/export markets.

Appearance
This industrial processing and storage facility is a large horizontal mass oriented north-south and designed to accommodate the change in grade that rises up northwards  from Weller Street to King Street. The lower level loading bays are situated at grade on Weller Street, while access to the upper level of the building is provided via loading bays at grade on King Street. Loading bays extend across the entire building at the north and south facades and are covered by hanging metal canopies. On the south elevation, where the building appears as a two-story structure, eight small square metal hinged casement windows extend across the upper level facade. These are the only windows in the entire building.
