This extensively altered one-story masonry commercial
building is flat-roofed with a parapet, rectangular in plan and clad in stucco.
Although the building addressed as 1222 is a separate building constructed in
1921, the adjacent building to the west, constructed in 1910 and addressed as 1220
(parcel 8591900061) combine to present as a single building façade.
It provides two retail glass and metal sash window storefronts.
Each retail storefront is covered by individual canvas awnings.
It is located in the area of the International District
neighborhood known as Little Saigon where many Vietnamese businesses are
located, but is not located within either the local Special Review or the NR
district boundaries.
