Significance
The eastern portion of this industrial building was constructed as a one story building in 1948 for use as a dry cleaning plant. The two-story addition, which originally had a saw-tooth skylight, was constructed on the west side in 1953. Another addition, to serve asĀ  a rug cleaning and dyeing workroom, was constructed on the north side of the western portion in 1959. Tax assessor file data indicates the original owner was George W. Rebar and W. G. Brust was the architect (William Brust).
 
Appearance
This industrial building is characterized by its horizontal massing and industrial steel sash windows. All of the primary facade windows on the second story western portion and the central entry bay have been altered. The saw-tooth skylight, a characteristic industrial roof form, has been removed.
