Appearance
This is a two story, clapboard clad, wood frame duplex on a concrete foundation, over a full basement.

The rectangular plan is capped by a hipped roof with moderate overhangs and open soffits. Although the windows and doors are characterized by patterns and details customarily associated with Queen Anne design, the exposed rafter tails, and the square piers at the front porch, which bear on solid porch rails and support the hipped porch roof, are more typical of Craftsman work.

This structure was built in 1906 and remodeled in 1915, according to the King County Property Record Card. The building has functioned as a duplex since at least 1937; however, the street facade suggests single family use. It has not yet been determined if the structure was remodeled to serve as a duplex at some point after initial construction but prior to 1937, or returned to single family use more recently.
