Significance
Constructed in the late 1920s, Ramp No. 1 is part of the original ramp that allowed seaplanes to be pulled from Lake Washington by a tractor.
 
Appearance
Located at the north end of the district, Ramp No. 1 extends into Lake Washington but is cut-off, or perhaps covered, by a paved parking lot to the south. It has been altered from its original configuration. The surface retains its original hand-shaped granite paver blocks set in concrete.
