Significance
Built in 1949, Building 299 is one of the later structures constructed at the naval air station. The building housed flammable materials safely.
 
Appearance
This single-story, utilitarian building has a rectangular footprint and is sited to the west of Building 2, oriented to the east. A flat roof covers painted concrete masonry unit (CMU) block walls. Entrances are found on the north, east, and south facades. Windows are wood casements.
