This structure’s design integrity has been significantly compromised by extensive alterations.
This is one of approximately 2,200 houses that are still extant out of more than 5,000 that were built by the end of 1906 in Seattle’s Central Area, Eastlake, First Hill, Leschi, Madison Park, Madrona, and North Capitol Hill neighborhoods.
A complete permit history, and a complete record of ownership and occupation have not yet been prepared for this property.

This structure was built in 1905 but was remodeled in 1926 according to the King County Property Record Card. It was rebuilt or replaced in 2007 according to the King County GIS Center Property Report (accessed August 18, 2008)
The plan of the house has been substantially and extensively altered. A second floor appears to have replaced the original half floor. The entry porch has been moved from the edge of the structure to the center. The shingle siding appears to have been replaced in kind at the original structure; matching shingle siding has been added to clad the large upper level addition. The fenestration has been substantially altered and many individual windows have been removed, added or replaced. The bays have been altered.
