Appearance
This house was built in 1892 according to the King County Property Record Card; however, the King County GIS Center Property Report indicates that the structure was erected in 1901. According to the King County Property Record card, this house was remodeled in 1924. The west (alley) end of the structure was being altered when the site was visited in May 2008.

The irregular floor plan and cutaway corners with wood pendents at the east elevation are typical Queen Anne elements. The wide, decorative barge boards and extensive shingle siding are indicative of Shingle style sensibilities.

The east (front and view) end of the structure has been altered with the addition of a large, shed roofed, north facing dormer and a new, small east facing gable. The shingle siding has been replaced in kind (though stained or weathered rather than painted) at the upper level. Shingle has siding replaced the original clapboard siding at the body of the house. New windows have been added at the altered portions of the upper floor.
