Appearance
This house was built in 1900 according to both the King County Property Record Card and the King County GIS Center Property Report. According to the King County Property Record Card, the house was remodeled in 1932-33; however, the extent of the work undertaken at that time is not indicated.

The structure has been converted from a single family residence to duplex use. The large porch and deck at the back of the structure appears to be a relatively recent additions. The second story bay at the west elevation is an addition.
It appears a new basement may have been added. The openings onto the entry porch and deck appear to have been altered. Many of the original windows appear to have been replaced in kind. A notation on the king County Property Record Card suggests that the house was clad with composition imitation stone for a period after 1937; however, the siding has since been returned to its original appearance (though it has been adjusted to accommodate various opening changes). The original Tuscan columns, stair rails, and deck railing at the entry have been replaced with dimensional lumber elements.
