This is a transitional design combining elements of a simplified version of the Queen Anne -- Shingle style with Craftsman style details exhibiting a high degree of integrity. This is one of approximately 2,200 houses that are still extant out of more than 5,000 that were built by the end of 1906 in Seattle’s Central Area, Eastlake, First Hill, Leschi, Madison Park, Madrona, and North Capitol Hill neighborhoods.
A complete permit history, and a complete record of ownership and occupation have not yet been prepared for this property.

| Appearance |
This is a transitional design combining Queen Anne elements (particularly windows) with a roof slope, a barge board pattern, and the exposed rafter tails typical of Craftsman design. the shingle siding give the structure a Shingle style flavor.
It appears one window has been replaced. The shingle siding may have been refurbished. Added gutters make the rafter tails less evident.
