A complete permit history, and a complete record of ownership and occupation have not yet been prepared for this property. Some limited window banding and the exposed rafter tails are typical elements of the Craftsman style; however, some of the windows feature Queen Anne style muntin patterns and a large cottage window typical of the latter style opens on to the entry porch. The unusual decorative column at the porch is probably a residual element of pre-twentieth century design work. This house was built in 1906 according to both the King County Property Record Card and the King County GIS Center Property Report. The back porch was converted to interior space at some point after 1937. Windows were added to light the enclosed back porch area. The house was clad with concrete/asbestos shakes for a period after 1957 but appears to have since been returned to its original siding configuration. A wood railing has been added at the entry porch. Steel railings have been added at the entry stairs. Gutters now hide the formerly exposed rafter tails.
