Significance

Plat: McAllister's Addition, Block: 15, Lot: 10

Originally built in 1907 with a hipped roof, which flared slightly and a front porch covered by an overhang, supported on five very thin millwork supports with struts. There was a long single double hung window to each side of the central entry of the front elevation. The house has been considerably altered with respect to the roof, windows and the loss of the front porch, once supported on distinctive turned supports. Repeated alterations after that. Windows altered again: 2 windows to the west and one to the east, each divided into vertical row of three panes. Flush siding replaced by present siding.
