Significance

Note:

Very altered building exterior, but of interest because of remaining Art Deco ornament on very altered 6th Ave S façade, (which had ground floor storefronts and double-hung windows at the second level). Associated with the Metropolitan Grocery Company and known as the Angela Merlino Building, the building was sold by Ubaldo Merlino to Robert Valentine in 1944.
