Appearance |
This one-story single
family house is located slightly east of the northeast corner of First Avenue
South and Lucile St. The building exterior is characterized by the
repetition of a clipped gable form, which occurs on the main roof, on a
slightly lower wing to the west and on over the eastern bay of the façade. The
main entry porch also has a distinctive overhang, which includes a small
projecting gable, which surmounts an arched form, with small ornamental
brackets set below. As shown in early photos, windows are double hung. On the
eastern bay, here is a row of three good-sized windows, set below the clipped
gable shape. To the west of the entry porch there are two smaller paired
windows. The slightly lower and recessed wing has one full-sized double-hung window.
