Directly associated with 1920s era auto-row developmental history of Westlake Avenue. Originally housed several auto repair and tire shops (Polk 1925) including: F.A. Cotter, Young & Miller auto accessories and supplies; Triangle Tire Co., Eldridge Buick Co. (Polk 1930), Westlake Auto Wrecking (Polk 1935) and Dulmage Motor Sales, Inc. (Polk 1937). Also associated with subsequent era of construction-related wholesale businesses and warehouses that were concentrated in the South Lake Union area. The building housed Pacific Artcraft Co. which sold lamps & shades (Polk 1938) and a plumbing and heating product manufacturing & wholesale supplier (Polk 1940, 1948, 1957).

 
Appearance

Exhibits one-story flat roof form, brick and concrete stucco cladding, modern aluminum sash, low bulkheads at primary elevations indicative of adjacent sidewalk grade changes.

This property has been extensively altered and no longer exhibits any historic building fabric or features. Based on field examination conducted in January - February 2014, this property exhibits very poor physical integrity and does not retain sufficient historic building fabric or features to convey its history or potential significance. Specific dates of alteration(s) have not been established.

Determined not eligible for NRHP – South Lake Union Streetcar (EIS).
