This property has been extensively altered. Based on field examination conducted in January - February 2014, this property exhibits poor physical integrity and does not exhibit intact historic building fabric or features. Based on preliminary research and comparison with other extant and similar properties, it does not appear to possess significant historical associations or design attributes.
While constructed during an important period of industrial, commercial and warehouse development in the district, due to the degree of alterations this property appears unlikely to meet Landmark designation status.
Built in 1959, this small commercial building originally served as a sales room and storage for Greene-Todd Company, Inc., a wholesaler of restaurant supplies. The current use is a private art gallery and storage space. The original glazed storefront has been filled in with modern cladding and is covered with ivy. Prominent skylights have been added to form a monitor roof.
