Significance

This commercial building was constructed in 1950 according to the  King County Assessor in the Uptown neighborhood.

 
Appearance

Constructed in 1950, this concrete block professional office building is located midblock on the west side of Second Avenue W between W Harrison Street and W Thomas Street. The building’s site slopes down from the north to the south. The building at 325 Second Avenue W is a two-story Modern building with a flat roof with parapet. The rectangular building stands on a poured concrete foundation and is clad in brick veneer. The building has a horizontal appearance, emphasized by bands of multi-lite metal frame windows, which are largely intact. The building features new doors, 1 metal and 1 copper. Metal panels wrap around one of the entrances at the north end of the east elevation.  A metal angled awning projects over the south entrance.
