Seattle Historical Sites

This 3-story commercial building was constructed in 1962, according to a 1969 King County Assessor property card, in the Uptown neighborhood. The property card also lists Ark G. Chin (1924–2011) as the architect. Chin, a Chinese-American, was a civil engineer.

Constructed in 1962 as an office building, this reinforced concrete building with a curtain wall system is located at the southern tip of the triangular block formed by Fourth Avenue W to the east, W Harrison Street to the south, and Elliott Avenue W to the west. The site lopes down to the southwest corner, from the north and the east. The 3-story building has a rectangular plan and stands on a poured concrete foundation. It has a flat roof with a parapet. The exterior walls are comprised of a curtain wall system. A small 1-story addition, constructed in 1969, was added to the north elevation. The main entrance is located at street-level on the south elevation and is located within a small projecting enclosed entry.

The building retains moderate integrity.
