Significance
This house is currently occupied by Gordon Peek, a retired teacher who has lived near the corner of Burke Avenue N. and N. 40th Street for more than 80 years and at this house for much of this time. Nyberg and Steinbrueck identified this house as a building significant to the Wallingford community.
 
Appearance
The craftsman style porte-cochere attached to this house is a very unusual feature among bungalow style structures in the Wallingford neighborhood and is nowhere else found developed to this level of detail.
