Significance
This building is a good example of early 20th century multifamily housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Further evaluaiton of this apartment building may yield informaiton regarding its strong resemblence to the work of carpenter/contractor Sam Catania. 2/18/2004 note: Determined not eligible for NR listing 10/5/1994. Appearance
This is a two story brick apartment building with full height bays on either side of an arched center entrance. The building is distinguished by the use of polychrome brick and stucco and tile pent roof which spans the façade beneath molded cornice.
