| Appearance |
| This ambitious Craftsman cottage is prominently located on the tiny park at Southern Street and Dallas Avenue and 10th Avenue. It is essentially intact with [a] broad hipped roof, wide overhanging eaves, one-over-one double hung sash, hipped dormer to the east and bays to the east and north. An exterior stone chimney rises on the west side of the house while a brick chimney rises on the east side. An insensitive porch enclosure detracts from the street appearance of the house which, with its setting, nevertheless ocntributes greatly to the historic streetscape. |
