This is one of only a few examples of Wallingford houses entered from the side yard. The entry is centered in the south side elevation of a structure with a false gambrel roofed. The east end of the house faces the street. Typologically, the house functiions as a colonial revival gambrel except for the fact that the east end of the structure is the front yard elevation.

Fior all intents and purposes, this is a two story gable roofed structure. The house is made to look like a gambrel roofed structure through the addition of a false second slope and a pent at the east and west ends of the building. |
