Significance
This house is an excellent example of a vernacular form as affected by economic prosperity and current fashion. It enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle. Additionally, it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This elaborate cottage is richly ornamented with Craftsman, Classical and Oriental details. It has a hipped dormer with flared eaves and an Oriental motif. The full width inset porch is supported by classical columns. Gable ends are shingled and have whimsical balconies.
