This house was built in 1904 or 1905. The house was originally occupied by Harry Evans, who lived at this address from 1904 until his death in 1930. Harry Evans worked for Star Paint and Wallpaper Co. Eventually, Evans owned and operated his own painting and paper hanging company, which was located at 4907 Rainier Avenue S. Lulu Evans, his wife, purchased the house from Martin Fisher in 1929. Lulu Evans was born in Seymour, Iowa in 1876. She moved to Seattle in 1903 and was a machine operator for the Harris Manufacturing Company. The house was demolished in 2004.
