Significance
In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
It is significant for its contribution to the streetscape. Hans Anderson held title and probably acquired this proeprty in 1915. He may have been the first owner. It is located on or adjacent to the site of Shaw Memorial Church which was torn down in 1911.

Appearance
This classic American Foursquare is intact from the roof down. A new gable roof caps the building which has one-over-one double hung wooden sash; dentil molding at the cornice line; a hipped roof, partial width porch; and a paneled, single light door. A small fixed window is adjacent to the entrance. Although the roof replacement severely damages the integrity of this house, it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
