Significance
This simple two-story building, of solid brick construction, is one of the older buildings in the area, dating back to 1909. Its original use is not known, but from approximately 1925 until the 1940s it was a butcher supply company. It has been a surplus store for many years, and was significantly altered for retailuse, with new windows on both floors.
