This apartment building is one of a unique collection of eight ca. 1929 apartment buildings located in the 1100 block of 17th Avenue. Each apartment building is different but similar in mass and scale and each reflects popular styles of the day. This building is important for its contribution to the group.
 
Appearance
This building is a three story, tan brick veneer building with relatively simple Art Deco details. Brick cornices mimic pilasters and terminated tinto Art Deco capitals giving the building a strong vertical emphasis. The focal point is the flat faced center entrance, which is elaborated with geometric masonry and brick patterns. Windows appear to be replacements for the original.
